A Very Special Day

What is your favorite day of the year?
Mine is today, Christmas, I love the family time the giving of gifts…I love the warm memories of Christmas’s past…I love the music and I love dreaming of a White Christmas.
As important as all those aspect of this holiday (or is that Holy Day?) are, the reason Christmas is my favorite time of the year is for just a moment we are reminded that something much more important that the details of our everyday lives occurred 2000+ years ago.
Without the greatest gift ever conceived, all these things would be empty and the next day we would simply go back to our ordinary lives.
But the greatest gift keeps on giving, I am so thankful that a Creator God loved me enough to pay the price my sin demanded so that I could face eternity with great confidence, not because I’m such a good guy, but because He is such a great God.
