Terrorism and Liberalism

Has the attempt to blow up Northwest flight 253 given you any concerns?
Looking back of this near catastrophe, several issues emerge.
Liberals view terrorists as ordinary criminals. They cannot recognize the distinction between a bank robbery and an assault on our country. Their unwillingness to treat these Jihadists with the full weight of the military is a matter of weakness, and that weakness encourages the next attack.
Their initial insistence that the system worked and the slowness of the response from the White House are additional signs of weakness in our approach to these critical national security issues.
Viewed in context with the decisions to close Gitmo and hold terrorist trials in NYC we clearly see the ACLU approved the approach to national security that this administration has adopted.
With all the dancing going on at the White House, it kinda makes you wish the cowboy was back. I prefer John Wayne to Fred Astaire when it comes to national security.
