What True Progressives Want

What is it that true progressives want?
True progressives are really unhappy with this president and liberal Congress.Why would that be when they have overseen the largest transfer of wealth from one class to another in American history?
From the Washington Post, one of the nation’s leading progressive spokesmen we read this, “The New Deal and the Great Society which fundamentally reshaped the nation’s economy and society are what fire the liberal imagination.”
In other words, this group in DC just hasn’t done enough to undermine capitalism.
But that is hard to believe from where Main Street sits. The New Deal and the Great Society both created government liabilities that are unsustainable and this current Congress and President are doing exactly the same thing.
All this should warn us. Beware of progressives promising that the government is the answer. Higher taxes and less freedom cannot be far behind.
