Jobs, Jobs, Jobs

How are jobs created?
Much is being made about the need to create jobs to lower unemployment. But, there are two very different philosophies about how to get this done.
Liberals would have us believe that jobs are created most effectively when the central government, using tax dollars, doles out money to pet projects…like, say a high speed railway project between Tampa Bay and Orlando, Florida.
This central planning approach takes money from the whole economy and focuses it on selected communities. This creates artificial winners and losers bearing no direct relationship to the reality.
Conservatives believe the best jobs are created when citizens are allowed to keep their own money to invest in their local communities. It has been estimated that every dollar cut from our taxes recycles through the economy 10 times, while nearly 30% of every tax dollar sent to Washington is lost in government bureaucracy.
Which approach makes most sense to you?
