Rewarding Irresponsibility

What happens when irresponsible behavior is rewarded?

Any parent listening can answer the question. Rewarding irresponsible behavior produces more irresponsible behavior.

That thought keeps running through my head when I hear ads on radio and television asking people with $10,000 or more in credit card bills to call in because the federal government’s bailout program may allow them to eliminate one half their debt.

Now that certainly promotes responsible use of credit cards, I guess if you got that 52 inch flat screen TV on sale for half price, by the time Uncle Sam takes care of one half your credit card bills, you could say that the TV was a real steal.

What was I thinking paying off my credit cards every month? I could have had some government bailout money.

With the government bailing out credit card debt, bailing out over extended home mortgages, offering cash for clunkers, why should anyone bother to pay their bills when Uncle Sam will do it for you?

…endowed by our Creator… We started here!
By so doing, we acknowledged God Almighty. “The earth is His and all it contains. The people and they that dwell there-in.” No exceptions.
Now, puny, foolish men have ordered Him ‘back to His room’. Since you’re so intelligent, look up in your concordance the Name ‘Almighty’. Three renderings come to mind for America; *powerful *burly *utterly lay waste. Understand Who you’re messing with. And then get on your knees and thank God Almighty for His mercy to you before you dry-up and blow away
