Can you define the word “Oxymoron?
An oxymoron puts two words together that just don’t fit, like postal service. The latest oxymoron is Pro-life Democrat. With the passage of Obamacare last week, the Democrats who claimed to be pro-life caved and their yes votes passed a bill allowing federal funding of abortions.
But you should know what their leader, Rep. Stupak said about his position and his own party before he voted for the bill.
“”I’m a definite ‘No’. The party is pro-abortion and they are saying ‘if you pass
the Stupak amendment, more children will be born and it will cost us millions more’.”
Then based on a promise from the most pro-abortion president in U.S. history to issue an executive order prohibiting the use of taxpayer funds, he and his “pro-life” colleagues voted “Yes”
The CBO estimated the cost of the additional births without federal funding to be $500M over 10 years. What a proud moment, dollars trump life!
