Liberals And Taxes

Have you ever wondered why liberals are so fond of taxes?
One of the underlying principles of liberal government is that the government is the answer to all our problems. A government that big would place a lot of power into the hands of whoever is running the government machine…hence, when liberals are in power, they pursue big government programs as a means of securing power for themselves…
Another way to say it is that they attempt to buy our votes with programs designed to make each of us dependent on the government. However it takes a lot of money to fund a government big enough to buy all our votes…so liberals love taxes.
But, perhaps the biggest reason that liberals love taxes it appears that they don’t bother to pay theirs anyway, so they are never truly impacted by the confiscatory tax rates they levy on the rest of us.
