The Democrat’s Stimulus Package Won’t Work

Have you bought into all the hype surrounding the nearly trillion dollar spending bill pretending to be a stimulus program?
This is the largest spending bill in US history. It had to be passed quickly and out of the light of any true scrutiny because it couldn’t withstand any careful examination and will not work.
Modeled after the FDR public spending programs from the depression era, it is as doomed to failure as his effort was. In 2004, UCLA (hardly a conservative bastion) reported a detailed study that says FDR’s policies prolonged the depression by 7 years.
In addition, the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office has said the Obama plan is worse than doing nothing. Their position is this program will actually shrink the gross domestic product (GDP), reducing jobs within 10 years.
Those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
