Is it possible we should have paid more attention to Obama’s Chicago ties?
Historically Chicago has been home to corrupt and often brutal politics…and its government reflects that truth. Did our president learn his craft cooperating with the thuggery that is inner city Chicago politics? His current tactics in the White House seem to reflect this training.
Apparently beholden to the union bosses, he has by threats and intimidation turned Chrysler over to the unions and is in the process of doing the same to GM. He has bullied the investors in those companies into accepting a settlement that no bankruptcy court would impose, while guaranteeing the unions all they could hope for.
He has threatened the sovereign state of California with retaliation if her unions don’t get what they want. He is doing a pretty good imitation of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton who bully others into cooperating.
All in all, he’s doing a pretty good impression of Chicago politics.
