States Rights and the DC Money Trail

Do you believe the states ought to decide most issues for themselves?
Our founding fathers did…that is why the Tenth Amendment reads, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people”
What has happened?
Congress and the President have been assuming broad powers from the individual states. This was never intended at our founding…and it is to our detriment.
Instead of 50 laboratories working to improve health care or education or you name the issue, we are getting big, top down driven solutions that in no way are good for all of the states.
There are currently 20 states challenging the Federal government’s right to interfere in the affairs of the states
But, and this is scary, for the first time in our history, Federal handouts are the top revenue source for the states. Are we selling our freedom for 30 pieces of silver?
