What is your definition of a coward?
A coward is one who puts his own safety and well being ahead of his neighbors.
We are witnessing a parade of cowards in Washington bowing and scraping for the political leadership in an attempt to save their interests, regardless of the impact the socialist agenda will have on the country.
Union leadership was the first in line…no surprise, but some of the others surprised me.
Walmart recently capitulated to the politicians by pompously claiming to “have seen the light” and endorsed rationed national healthcare. Their real motive…they can save money by forcing their workers onto the government roles.
Then, T. Boone Pickens, a real main street businessman, endorsed the cap and tax energy bill even though it will cripple American industry…primarily because he would get federal dollars to build windmill farms.
It appears the big dogs are lining up to curry favor with the bullies in DC. I can hear their plaintiff cry, “Please Mr. Congressman, eat me last.”
