Be Very Glad You Don’t Live in California

How much food does a state IOU put on the table?
Californians are finding out, as their tax and spend government just ran out of money…because the voters turned down the wonderful opportunity to pay more taxes.
The media blames the twenty six billion dollar state deficit on the voters who overwhelmingly refused allow the state to increase taxes yet again.
Although outspent 7 to 1 by the political class, Main Street decisively defeated all 5 of the proposed tax increases. And the headlines:
“Voters Exercise Their Power…and That’s the Problem” LA Times and she opined, the notion that California has a “spending problem” is an “infectious myth”.
“Good morning voters, do you feel better now that you’ve gotten that out of your system.” Sacramento Bee
The San Diego Union-Tribune said the vote was, “staggeringly juvenile, arrogant and revealing.”
I guess access to a printing press doesn’t necessarily make you smart!
