Let’s Hear It for Big Government V

Why should we care about the history of big government mismanagement? Precisely because they want to take over the entire healthcare industry.
They are promising utopian results…everybody is covered…everybody gets better care…and it will be cheaper. Anyone with a lick of common sense knows that cannot be done.
So, what’s the catch? Oh, not everybody will be covered…but all the illegals will be. Oh, not everybody will get better care…only those deemed worthy by the federal government. This means the very young and senior citizens are at grave risk of not getting the level of health care they currently receive.
As for saving money, the government itself is speaking out of both sides of its mouth…while the politicians and the administration hacks promise the moon, the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office promises more than $1 trillion dollars in new costs are associated with the program.
Oh yeah, big government can make our lives better…and the moon is made of blue cheese.
