The Mushy Middle

In today’s sharply divided political debate, what goes on inside the mind of an “undecided” voter?

I would call them, the “mushy middle”. How can we get beyond these vacillating “middle of the roaders” to catch a truer picture of what Main Street Americans are thinking?

Rasmussen asks people to rate the job the president is doing in 4 categories, strongly approve…moderately approve…moderately disapprove…and strongly disapprove.

He then discounts the mushy moderate categories to come up with a presidential approval rating. When that is done, for the last several weeks, more than 40% of the country strongly disapproves of the president’s performance while less than 30% strongly approve, giving him a strongly disapproves rating of more than negative 10%.

These numbers show how deeply Americans feel about the socialist agenda of this administration…just one problem, after campaigning as one of us, this president is now demonstrating how little he cares for our opinions.
