How is it that we have allowed 435 elected officials to become aristocratic dictators ruining America for their own benefit?
With my apologizes to Charlie Reese whose premise I am plagiarizing, consider the following:
Politicians are the only people in the country who create problems and then campaign against them.
If both parties are against deficits, why do we have them?
If they are all against big government, why do we have it?
Who is responsible…special interests?…or the politicians that vote?
What separates politicians from regular people is unmitigated gall…what gall to pass a universal healthcare bill and exempt themselves from it or to pass 1000 page, trillion dollar tax and spend bill without even reading it.
It is inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 435 people who stand convicted in the public court of incompetence and irresponsibility.
